Bullying: Take a Stand and Lend a Hand

   Hello I am Hannah. I'm eleven years old, and I am one of the many victims of bullying. 

As many people know, bullying increases rapidly each and every day throughout the globe. So I am here to share about my very own "Bullying Bonanza!" 

I was in the fourth grade and there was a girl named Raven, whom for some reason decided to target me to bully. Raven had called me rude names, talked about my father(which is no longer apart of my life) to my face, tried to get some of my closest friends to turn their backs towards me and be cruel to me, but worst of all Raven would push and hit me.  This made me ashamed of myself, and made me feel as though no one wanted me on this planet. That was until I talked to my mom who calmly told me she would call my teacher and talk to him about this problem. When she did, my teacher pulled Raven and I outside of the class room where he told us not to fight because fighting was for babies. After many days of being pulled outside to talk about our problem my teacher sent Raven and I to the school counselor. There we had to sign a contract which stated we would be kind to one another. However bringing the counselor in to our problem made Raven even more mad than ever. The next day Raven came after me in the hallway swinging a heavy science book aiming to hit me. Unfortunately Raven and I were the only people in the hallway, I had no choice but to..... Stand up to her! Ever since I did we have been good friends. I know this may not solve all bully cases. But there is still a 50/50 percent chance it will. So if you are being bullied or you see some one being bullied, be like me and take a stand.

Fun and Simple Birthday Nails!

For my birthday I decided to use one of my all time favorite polishes Pure Ice's Beware. Of course me being me, I just couldn't leave well enough alone so I decided to jazz it up a little with a few dots. Well those few dots took on a life of their own and turned into 6 different colored dots, I mean, why not? It is my birthday after all. I will warn you, my hands are a hot mess, please excuse them for the next 6-8 weeks until I get packed, moved, unpacked and then can get them all pretty again.

Pure Ice Beware, it does take 3-4 coats for full coverage, but it is so worth it in the end!

Zombie Flesh on My Hands, OH MY!

I had been waiting to grab a few bottles of polish from Dollish Polish for a while now. Luckily I caught her shop just as she was done restocking it a few weeks ago. I grabbed 2 mini bottles, Zombie Flesh and Cold Winds Are Rising. Honestly I was after Cold Winds Are Rising and grabbed Zombie Flesh so that I could tease a friend (Makeup Zombie) with it. Needless to say as much as I love Cold Winds Are Rising, I still haven't done a full mani with it yet. I put on Zombie Flesh and fell in love. The formula is really nice, maybe a little on the thin side, but had full coverage with 3 coats, which I have found to be typical with most indie polishes. I would definitely suggest adding another ball or 2 to the bottle to help with mixing the glitter in it. Since I have so many polishes I tend to grab mini bottles from companies I haven't tried yet, unless I know it is a polish I will wear more often, this is one polish I hope to be able to grab a full size of!

Sheeeeeeeeee's back!

I know I haven't been posting much at all for some time, and I want to apologize to any of you who read my blog. Long story short, life got in the way, crazy things happened that I let get to me more than I should have. While some things have gotten better, other things have fallen apart, but I am not going to let it take control of me. I've missed blogging, I've missed sharing my thoughts, opinions, and experiences with the world. While I will be sharing all sorts of things with you as I have in the past, one thing I am sure you will see more of is nail polish, lots of nail polish. I LOVE my nail polish, it has quickly become what some may call an obsession for me. I will also be letting my daughters make posts from time to time, they are some opinionated young ladies (not sure where they get it from LOL), and have some interesting things they would like to share. I know not everyone would agree with me allowing an 11 and almost 15 year old blog, but that is why they are my children and not someone else's. I feel like allowing them to post from time to time with my supervision on my blog is not a bad thing. I hope you all will enjoy upcoming posts from all 3 of us. Thank you to those of you who have been sticking with me over the last year and especially through my silence here.
